This was an animation that came from hearing Aurillac by Anna Mieke. It made me feel like I could fly and I wanted to capture this on paper. It coincided with White Storks being released into Cornwall for the first time by the Cornwall Stork Project, and I felt that they were the perfect bird to use with their huge and slow beating wings. I drew the frames on notebook paper in pen and charcoal, then stitched them together into an animation using a video editor.
